The National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD) is responsible for developing and maintaining the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the primary reference guide for all traffic control devices used on public roads. Uyen Dang is currently serving on the Markings Committee and is a voting council member on the NACTO delegation, making significant contributions to this important committee.

As a member of the Markings Committee, Uyen has advocating to develop new standards and guidelines for safe streets to be used on roads across the country. She has brought her expertise and experience as a transportation engineer to the committee, helping to ensure that the MUTCD reflects current best practices and safety standards.
