Vision Zero
DDEC’s award-winning Vision Zero team brings multi-disciplinary knowledge in engineering, equity, enforcement, and education to Vision Zero policy and program development. DDEC leadership wrote and developed Palm Beach County’s first Vision Zero policy and program, which became a model for municipalities nationwide. Backed by a personal commitment to eliminate serious injuries and fatalities on roads, the team works diligently to support cities in the planning, design, and implementation of projects and policies, creating safer communities for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.
