In celebration of Florida Bicycle Month, DDEC was proud to host Wheels in Motion, a community event focused on promoting safer biking, scootering, and other active ways of getting around.

During the event, we shared bike safety information, provided free bike tune-ups, and handed out giveaways to help support safer riding. We also hosted a raffle, giving participants the opportunity to win a free bike and take part in the excitement of the day.

Congratulations to Our Raffle Winner!

Markitta came to the event to get her son’s bike tuned up and entered the raffle hoping to win a bike of her own so she could ride alongside him. We were especially happy to hear her story and celebrate a win that will help create more shared moments for their family.

Congratulations again, Markitta. We hope this bike brings plenty of fun, memories, and great rides ahead.
